About Sinéad
Sinéad Browne is a drama practitioner and primary school teacher who has spent her career bringing drama into classrooms across South Dublin.
She founded The Drama Room to do one thing well - deliver professional drama education that works for children, teachers and schools equally. Not a stage school. Not a performance competition. Drama as a genuine learning tool that builds confidence, communication, wellbeing and creativity in every child who walks through the door.
Sinéad holds an Associate of the Irish Board of Speech and Drama (AIBD), a Post Graduate Diploma in Primary Teaching and a BA. She is a registered Creative Associate with the Arts Council of Ireland.
Her process drama approach means teachers see real results in the classroom - in oral language, in SPHE outcomes, in how children listen, collaborate and express themselves. That's why The Drama Room works in schools, not just after them.
What schools say about us
"Sinéad has been leading our Kinder Drama after-school activity at St. Kilian's for the past four years, and it has consistently been one of the most popular activities among our Junior Infant, Senior Infant and First Class pupils. She has a remarkable ability to engage every child in her classes. Sinéad gently encourages even the shyest children to come out of their shells, while providing a safe and creative space for more confident and expressive children to flourish.
Through a wide variety of imaginative games, drama activities, and storytelling, she ensures that every child feels included, valued and excited to participate. We highly recommend her to any school or organisation seeking an engaging, talented, and dedicated drama teacher."
